We provide a variety of tiles in different colours, styles, and suitable for various roof pitches, garages, extensions, or any area you need tiling. Tiles are typically made of clay or concrete, but wooden shingles are also available. If you prefer a slate roof or want to re-slate your existing one, you can choose between natural slates or fibre cement slates. Selecting the right slate or tile is a matter of personal preference and suitability, and Crown Roofing can help you achieve a top-quality job with premium materials.

Our experienced lead working team offers invaluable weather protection for your home. Lead work is essential for valleys, dormer tops and cheeks, canopies, gutters, flashings, flat or pitched roofs, and abutments between walls and roofs. Lead can also be used for decorative purposes and is one of the most durable materials, lasting up to 100 years when properly installed. It contributes to sustainable construction due to its long service life and minimal maintenance requirements.

Flat or low-pitched roofs are typically covered with a membrane to waterproof the area. These materials allow water to run off into a gutter system.

Crown Roofing is registered with and trained to install Flex-R fleece backed EPDM. This tough, flexible sheeting is sealed at the joints to create a watertight system, suitable for both large and small areas, including around roof lanterns. Samples are available upon request, and we provide a written manufacturer’s guarantee along with our own Crown Roofing guarantee.

 We are certified installers of LRS liquid roofing systems, suitable for both new roofs and refurbishing existing roofs and gutter systems. These systems are versatile and can be applied to a wide range of materials, including felt, lead, single ply, concrete, and asbestos sheeting. 

For small flat roofs, we use built-up felt roofing bonded with hot bitumen. Felt rolls are laid onto timber or concrete decking, with hot bitumen applied between each layer for a watertight seal, topped with green mineral finish, solar reflective chippings, or aluminium reflective paint. This method has been used for many years.

We can handle any work you require, from simple re-pointing to removing chimneys below roof level and making good the roof to match existing coverings. We also supply and fix cowls, chimney pots, and bird deterrents.

These often-overlooked areas can enhance your home’s appearance. You don’t need to renew or repair your roof to update these areas. We supply and fix various rainwater systems, with UPVC being the most popular due to its cost and lifespan. Vertical tile hanging can make a property stand out, and we have completed many projects with this feature.
